Connection Cable Manufacturers introduces 3 maintenance procedures for cables:
1. Pickling passivation
Use the oxidation ability of acid to remove the material on the surface of high-temperature precious metal platinum-rhodium thermocouple and other residues that can be dissolved by acid. Put the high-temperature precious metal platinum-rhodium thermocouple into a circle with a diameter of about 80mm, put it into a measuring cup, and introduce 30%-50% (according to the volume ratio) chemically pure dilute sulfuric acid (or dilute nitric acid) for one hour, remove it and put it into a flask, boil several times with pure water to completely remove the acid. The effect of pickling and passivation is to clean up some substances and metal oxides on the surface of the electrode.
2. Sodium borate cleaning
The used high-temperature precious metal high-temperature platinum rhodium thermal instrument thermal resistance thermocouple needs to be cleaned with sodium borate after pickling and passivation. First, hang the high-temperature precious metal cable electrode on the platinum wire in the quenching cabinet, and then adjust the current to make the thermal resistance burn to 1100°C. Use a small piece of sodium borate to touch the hot spot of the network, so that the aqueous solution of boric acid flows down the electrode, and gradually after cleaning
Gradually reduce the amount of current, and finally disconnect the switching power supply, take off the disc and put it into a round shape with a diameter of 80mm, put it into a flask, boil it with pure water for several times, and completely precipitate borate. The significance of sodium borate is mainly to remove metal materials and metal oxides that are insoluble in sulfuric acid. Because sodium borate melts and adheres to the metal material residue on the thermoelectric level of the high-temperature precious metal platinum-rhodium thermocouple and
The hydroxide is converted into a boron glass solution, which flows out along the thermal electrode to achieve the purpose of eliminating the surface waste of the electrode.
3. Quenching
Quenching is to better eliminate the thermal stress in the electric stage, improve the crystal phase of the high-temperature precious metal platinum-rhodium thermocouple and improve the reliability of the high-temperature precious metal platinum-rhodium thermocouple. According to the moderate annealing temperature and quenching time, the desired purpose can be achieved. Generally, there are two ways of quenching: electric quenching and furnace quenching.
